A couple of tried and true

What was making those patterns in Donner Lake?
Even the wake of the boat was visible for the length of the lake.
With only 3 hikers both last Wednesday and yesterday, we cooled it some by taking shorter high-country hikes.  Three last week went to Penner and yesterday we did the PCT/Three Ladies: from Highway 40 north on the PCT, over to Lake Azalea, and return through Lake Flora and Lake Angela.  Towards the end we climbed the George R. Stewart  Peak for a smokey view.  We had hiked about 7 miles with an 1100 ft. elevation gain.

Fall was in the air
