Gracie Ditch

On a gray, misty morning, six of us decided it was going to be too cold and wet to sit down for a picnic so we opted for a tried and true local hike.  Nine miles of brisk walking goes by quickly so that we all felt it in our joints.  Otherwise uneventful, the hike had a few interesting diversions:  a couple of "dirt baggers" geocaching with various equipment, a controlled burn,  a couple of NID workers checking meters, and a few pups.

Next week there is some talk about doing the tombstones to accommodate Karen who has been suffering from sciatica.  There is also some talk about snowshoeing at the Three Ladies if the weather cooperates and brings some actual snow.
